Welcome to my cake blog! I've never really had a blog so bear with me haha. As you know my name is Stacey, and I obviously have a thing for cakes. The current cake of my life is the cake for my dad and uncle's joint birthday party. The Billiards Cake! Yesterday Spencer and I made fondant and modeling chocolate from scratch, and today I baked the three cakes that I will need to carve into the pool table. Or I guess I should say "am baking," because it is still going on haha. I'm not sure if I am going to get to carve today, and if I don't get to then this will be it for the Billiards Cake today. Wednesday will be BUSY with this cake though. I still have to make all of the modeling chocolate details, construct the base, carve the cakes most likely, make the buttercream, and (the scariest part) cover the cake in fondant. This cake is strawberry-white-strawberry. I'll let you guys know how it goes!
